CONDITIONS OF BOOKING OF YOGA CLASSES OR THERAPY OR CONSULTATIONS:
  1. The Union Yoga Ayurveda Rules and Regulations are applicable to all Students/Clients who sign up for any Yoga classes and the Loyalty Card Membership for Yoga classes.
There are four (4) categories of Yoga classes:
  1. General Yoga classes
  2. Specialised Yoga classes, including Yoga therapy.
  3. Private Yoga classes with a maximum limit of three (3) students in a class or limited to members from the same family.
  4. Personal training classes, one-to-one.
  1. Students/Clients who attend a trial class for the first time will be charged 50% of the normal class fees, this rate will also apply to “Walk-in” Clients/Students.
  1. The Yoga class package will commence from the first day of attendance to the class with the duration of validity of the class packages dependent of the number of classes bought, therefore:
  1. Ten (10) class membership is valid for a three (3) months period from the date of first attendance,
  2. Twenty (20) class membership is valid for a four (4) months period from the date of first attendance,
  • Thirty (30) class membership is valid for a six (6) months period from the date of first attendance,
  1. Further membership periods by agreement with Union Yoga Ayurveda
  2. Once the package has commenced and the first class taken there will be no refund or part refund.  After the expiry of the class package any unused classes would be forfeited.
  1. Yoga packages are non transferable in whole or in part.
  1. Union Yoga Ayurveda reserved the right to revise/update/change or cancel the Yoga classes, Teacher, and location of classes to suit the operational needs of the Yoga teachers and business. Union Yoga Ayurveda will endeavor to advise of any changes to the Client/Student as soon as possible.
  1. Should any Client/Student require a specific teacher, timing, or a specific maximum number of other attendees in a class, it is recommended that the Client/Student books a “Private Class” which will guarantee a maximum of no more than three (3) other attendees OR “Personal Training” on a one-to-one basis.
  1. Should the Client/Student choose to join the general classes with their loyalty membership (whatever type) there is no facility to choose either the teacher, location, or number of other attendees.
  1. Basic mats and blocks for yoga can be provided. However; it is recommended that Clients/Students bring their own Yoga mat towels and hand towels for use during the classes. We are aware of the different levels of personal hygiene standards hence our recommendation to use your own personal mats and towels.
  1. After use all mats and blocks owned by Union Yoga Ayurveda should be sanitized (using the sanitizer provided), rolled up and placed back into the designated area.
  1. You are advised not to bring any expensive goods, cash, including electronic material and jewelry to yoga classes. If you do, please keep your belongings near your mats, or in the designated locker provided and check everything before you leave. Union Yoga Ayurveda will not accept any responsibility for items lost, damaged or stolen whilst on Union Yoga Ayurveda premises.
  1. Clients/Students who attend any workshop or class via Classpass, Fave, K-fit or any other third-party vendor are bound by the rules and regulations of Union Yoga Ayurveda.
  2. Should there be any conflict between the rules and regulations of Union Yoga Ayurveda and any of the third-party vendors listed in clause 12(above) then the rules and regulations of Union Yoga Ayurveda shall always apply.
Loyalty Card
  1. The benefit of the Loyalty Card is that it offers various discounts on future classes (at the rates detailed below).
  1. The cost of the Loyalty Card is:
  • $150 for six (6) months,
  • $250 for twelve (12) months.
  1. ⁠In certain case of emergency (excluding medical) Union Yoga Ayurveda will offer a seven (7) day grace period upon request by the Client to renew their package. If they renew within this grace period then the Loyalty Card will be still valid.
  1. ⁠Those Client/Student who buys the Loyalty Card and maintains the Loyalty Card membership will be offered a discount on each future Yoga class package of:
  • 20% for ten (10), twenty (20) or thirty (30) class packages,
  • 15% on unlimited packages and
  • 10% on Workshops.
  1. ⁠The fees charged for the Loyalty Card membership is not refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  1. ⁠Loyalty Card customers benefit from the facility to use/transfer the unused classes (expired time limit classes) whenever they buy the next package if the Loyalty Card is still valid at no additional cost. Note for those Clients who have no Loyalty Card membership unused classes are forfeited after the package time limit is expired.
  1. Any extension to the Loyalty Card for unused classes can only be considered for medical reasons. In which case the Client/Student would be required to submit a medical certificate, certified from a medical Doctor having a valid medical practicing registration number.
Charges for extension for validity of package (non-Loyalty Card holders)  
  1. If the Client/Student has bought a package which has a limit of three (3) months, four (4) months or five (5) months, but the Client/Student is unable to complete all the classes within the time frame and is at risk of forfeiting unused classes then if the Client/Student chooses to increase the validity of the duration of the unused classes, then an admin fee would be payable at the rates below:
  • Extension cost is $40 per month (means $40 for 1st Month, $40 for 2nd Month, $40 for 3rd month).
  • Extension cost from fourth (4) month onwards will be reduced to $30 per month.
Each extension fee is valid for 30 days from the date of extension or from the date of the Class attended after extension, which-ever is later.
  1. Extension fees are classed as admin fees and should be paid separately from Yoga class fees.
Booking, Cancellation or Postponing of Yoga Classes(not Private Classes)
  1. ⁠All classes, therapies or consultations should be booked at least 24hrs in advance either by the website, telephone directly to the relevant Studio or by WhatsApp to +6583216170.
  1. There will be no penalty for cancellation of your booking if made before midnight the day before the scheduled class start time.
  1.   Cancelling or postponing of your class between 7 hrs. to 4 hrs. before the scheduled start of the class will be 50% chargeable (applicable to classes from 10am or later).
  1. For classes that commence in the morning i.e. 10 am (or earlier) and have not been cancelled the day before will be subject to 100% charge.
  1. Any class cancelled after the deadline of 4 hrs. before the scheduled class start (subject always to the provisions of Clause 3 above) will be subject to 100% charge.
  1. The booking, postponing and cancellation of Private Classes is subject to separate conditions which are set out in Annex A
  1. It is at the absolute discretion of Union Yoga Ayurveda to determine if the class has been cancelled or postponed in accordance with the rules as set out in Clauses 1-6 above.
Avoidance of Injury and Teacher Assistance Note: Yoga practice is a combination of postures, breathing practices, relaxation, practices, mindfulness, Alignment, detoxification, and Therapy.
  1. Client/Students are responsible to advise of any pre-existing injuries or issues in advance to Union Yoga Ayurveda (written format to our yoga teacher) either before the class, or even before signing up for the Class. Advising on the day is not recommended and the Union Yoga Ayurveda teacher has the absolute right to request that the Client/Student leave the class.
  1. If you have not declared an injury or problem in whatever form, it will be considered as “Unknown” to Union Yoga Ayurveda and the Client/Student would then undertake the class entirely at their own risk.
  1. It is a mandatory requirement of Union Yoga Ayurveda that the declaration form is signed. This is available at the reception area and should be complete before any classes are taken.
  1. It is normal that Yoga classes include alignment, posture adjustment and certain assisted stretches by the Yoga teacher. To this end it may be necessary for the Yoga teacher to adjust the Client/Student in certain ways during a Yoga class. If you are not happy for the teacher to adjust you, you should advise the teacher before the commencement of the class. If you have not previously advised the teacher of this it will be assumed that you have consented to being adjusted.
  1. If the Client/Student has previously informed the Yoga teacher and requested that they are not given any personnel adjustment by the Yoga teacher, but consider that despite their earlier request it did still occur, then the Client/Student should immediately make the teacher aware and should also submit a formal complaint in writing to Union Yoga Ayurveda stating the teachers name, time, location, and any witnesses. Union Yoga Ayurveda takes these events seriously and will take immediate necessary action.
  1. There is a “Zero Tolerance” rule regarding any sort of physical or verbal misbehavior, racial abuse, molestation, violence or inappropriate sexual advances by either Union Yoga Ayurveda staff or Clients/Students. Should there be any evidence of this taking place Union Yoga Ayurveda will not hesitate to contact the relevant authorities.
  1. If Union Yoga Ayurveda considers that a Client/Student behavior is affecting the serenity and atmosphere of the Yoga Studio and other Client/Students, then that Client/Student will be asked to leave immediately, this request may also result in the loss of their Membership, course, fees, and loyalty fees.
Use of Pictures, Videos and Social Media – Intellectual Property of Union Yoga Ayurveda  
  1. Union Yoga Ayurveda uses cameras and video devices to take pictures and video for various reasons which includes (but not limited to) promotions, advertising, safety information, future investigations and for educational purposes both for internal and external use, (Intellectual Property).
  1. Unless given in writing by Union Yoga Ayurveda no third party shall use, publish, reproduce, modify, or share any photographs or videos taken on Union Yoga Ayurveda premises. For the avoidance of doubt this would include Social Media posts. Union Yoga Ayurveda will consider that unauthorized use infringes the agreed use of our Intellectual Property and reserve the right to seek appropriate recourse.
  1. ⁠Union Yoga Ayurveda will ensure that any pictures or videos that have been taken, which may be considered in Union Yoga Ayurveda’s opinion to be obscene, indecent, or offensive will be immediately deleted and removed from their records.
  1. ⁠By agreeing to these rules and regulations you hereby agree and accept that any videos taken during classes may be used for the purposes stated in Clause 1(above) without your prior agreement.
  1. ⁠Clients/Students who wish to keep their practice private, and have formally objected to pictures and videos being taken are requested to sign up for private classes or personal classes. Similarly, if you wish to keep your identity secret or anonymous you are advised only to attend private or personal classes.
  1. ⁠By signing up for the loyalty membership card, or with any kind of membership or courses with Union Yoga Ayurveda you accept and agree to abide by the rules and regulations of Union Yoga Ayurveda as detailed above and on the Union Yoga Ayurveda website.

Booking Cancellation (General) The Client/Student can cancel/postpone the training on one (1) occasion at zero cost within a month. Any subsequent cancellations will incur an extra charge of $30 in addition to the fee. The Client/Student can cancel/postpone the training on two (2) occasions at zero cost within a month. Any subsequent cancellations will incur an extra charge of $25 in addition to the fee. The Client/Student can cancel/postpone the training on two (2) occasions at zero cost within a month. Any subsequent cancellations will incur an extra charge of $15 in addition to the fee.
  1. 1. 阿育吠陀联盟 伽规章制度适用于所有报名参加任何瑜伽课程的 学生 客户以及瑜伽课 的忠诚卡会员。n瑜伽课程分为四 (4) 个类别：
    A. 普通瑜伽课程
    B.专业瑜伽课程，包括瑜伽疗法。
    C. 私人瑜伽课程每班最多限制三 (3) 名学生或仅限同一家庭的成员。
    D. 私人培训课程，一对一。
    2. 首次参加试课的学生/客户将收取正常课程费用的 50％ ，此费率 也适用于“直接上门”客户/学生。

    iii) 三十 (30) 堂课程会员资格自首次参加之日起有效期为六 (6) 个月，
    iv) 与 阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽达成协 以延长会员期限
    4. 一旦套餐开始并开始上第一堂课，将不予退款或部分退款。课程 套餐到期后，所有未使用的课程将作废。 2
    5. 瑜伽套餐全部或部分不可 让。
    6. 阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽保留修改/更新/更改或取消瑜伽课程、教师和课程地点的权利，以满足瑜伽教师和企业的运营需求。阿育吠陀联 盟瑜伽将尽力尽快将任何变 通知客户/学生。
    7. 如果任何客户/学生需要特定的老师、时间或课堂上特定的最大参 加人数，建议客户/学生预订“私人课程”，以保证最多不超过三 (3) 名其他参加者或一对一的“个人培训”。
    8. 如果客户/学生选择以其忠诚会员资格（无论何种类型）参加普通 课程，则无法选择老师、地点或其他参加者人数。
    9. 可提供瑜伽基本垫子和瑜伽砖。但是，建议客户/学生自带瑜伽垫 毛巾和手巾，供上课时使用。我们了解个人卫生标准的不同水平， 因此我们建议使用您自己的垫子和毛巾。
    10. 使用后，应对 阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽拥有的所有垫子和瑜伽砖进行消 毒（使用提供的消毒剂），卷起并放回指定区域。
    11. 建议您不要携带任何贵重物品、现金（包括电子资料和珠宝）参 加瑜伽课。如果您携带了，请将您的物品放在垫子附近或指定的储 物柜中，并在离开前检查所有物品。阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽对在 阿育吠 陀联盟瑜伽场所内丢失、损坏或被盗的物品不承担任何责任。
    12. Classpass 、 Fave 、K-fit 或任何其他第三方供应商参加任何研讨 会或课程的客户/学生均受阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽的规则和条例的约束。
    13.如果阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽的规章制度与上文第 12 条所列的任何第
    三方供应商的规章制度存在任何冲突，则应始终以阿育吠陀联盟瑜 伽的规章制度为准。忠诚卡会员
    1.忠诚卡的好处是它为未来的课程提供各种折扣（具体费率如 下）。
    2.忠诚卡的费用为：

    2.延期费用属于管理费，应与瑜伽课程费用分开支付。 预订、取消或推迟瑜伽课程（非私人课程）

    1.客户/学生有责任在课程开始前或报名参加课程之前，提前向阿育 吠陀联盟瑜伽告知任何先前存在的伤害或问题（以书面形式告知我 们的瑜伽老师）。不建议在当天告知，并且阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽老师 有绝对权利要求客户/学生离开课堂。

    5. 如果客户/学生之前已通知瑜伽老师并要求瑜伽老师不要对他们进 行任何辅助触摸，但考虑到尽管他们之前已提出要求，但这种情况 仍发生了，则客户/学生应立即通知老师，并应向阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽 提交正式书面投诉，说明老师姓名、时间、地点和任何目击者。阿 育吠陀联盟瑜伽会严肃对待这些事件，并将立即采取必要行动。
    6. 阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽员工或客户/学生的任何身体或言语不当行为、 种族歧视、骚扰、暴力或不当性挑逗均受到“零容忍”规定。如果有 任何证据表明存在此类行为，阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽将毫不犹豫地联系 相关部门。
    7. 如果阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽认为客户/学生的行为影响了瑜伽馆和其他 客户/学生的宁静和氛围，那么将会要求该客户/学生立即离开，此 要求也可能导致其失去会员资格、课程、费用和忠诚度费用。
    图片、视频和社交媒体的使用 – 阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽的知识产权
    1.阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽使用相机和视频设备拍摄照片和视频，用于各
    种目的，包括（但不限于）促销、广告、安全信息、未来调查以及 内部和外部教育目的（知识产权）。
    2.除非阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽书面授权，否则任何第三方不得使用、发 布、复制、修改或分享在 阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽场所拍摄的任何照片或 视频。为避免疑问，这包括社交媒体帖子。阿育吠陀联盟瑜伽将认 为未经授权的使用侵犯了我们知识产权的约定使用，并保留寻求适 当补救的权利。

For Field Training

All courses have some amount of field training.

Field work is not the responsibility of school. It’s not a liability on school in any ways.

Students are encouraged to propagate their knowledge in public and search for their own clients after passing the practical exam and can observe or assist some hours for experience in school, which may vary from 15hrs to 30hrs in school.

For number of clocking hours, please contact the class coordinator and refer to your education manual.

After assisting for 15-30hrs, students can request for provisional certificate and can find their methods to do field work.

Union is not obligated to give any kind of platform for field work or internship to students.

Union, by its means and by mutual understanding may allow students to clock field training in its premise but it should not be misunderstood that every student has to do free labour in school. It’s by mutual request and by availability of space for clocking hours.

The tuition fees and registration fees paid by student is for:

Theory classes, Practical classes / observation, Exam, study material and certification.

Any other services given by Union to student or to any clients or asked by student from Union, will be charged as per cost price mentioned in website.

For Yoga class / Therapy / Training

Yoga Ayurveda therapy is a complementary medicine and it should not be considered as our alternative medicine for conventional treatment.

All kind of Yoga Ayurveda teaching, training and therapy can cause certain injuries.

Signing up for the course / class / therapy means that you are aware of the probable injuries.

Union Yoga Ayurveda (Union Centre Pte Ltd) and it’s staff are not liable or responsible for any injuries caused during the session which are visible or not visible, physical or hormonal or mental.

You as client take full responsibility of your own decision and will not claim any kind of compensation in terms of money or any resources for the damage caused because of due process.

Please do consultation with our Ayurveda yoga doctor and understand pros & cons of therapy before starting any therapy or supplements.

Re-registration :

First registration if expires and student has not completed the formalities, then they need to re-register which may give extra time limit for short courses (3 months), basic course (6 months), long course (12 months).

If you (student) have not done your registration immediately and the registration lapses, then you need to pay penalty of $250 (one time valid for 1yr) + extra registration fees which is dependent on the respective course.

2nd year consecutive registration lapse will be Penalty of $250 + $250 + Registration fees.

If your registration (student) lapses for more than 2 year or student is failed 3 times then in that case, the student need to pay tuition fees + registration fees and has to attend all classes again from beginning.

Note: We discourage, Re-registration, fines and penalties. Hence these options should be seen as last option but not the option to delay the course.

Fixed a Date for Exam Details

  • Plan for completion of course and exam well in advance. Absence in classes or missing the lessons is solely the responsibility of student.
  • Booking exam date needs 30 days in advance.
  • If 30 days of booking the exam exceeds the max time limit of course, then school is not responsible. Student have to plan their course keeping last 30 days of exam in advance.
  • One time fixing a date of exam is FREE because it’s been added in registeration fees paid during starting of course.
  • Any change in date after first fixing of date will add extra cost of $125 each for theory and $125 for Practical.
  • Death of near and dear ones, Medical emergency with proof, Natural calamity are exceptions.
  • Recording and Submission of Video
    For students safety, the video has to be recorded on a device brought by student and she/he has to upload the link on Google drive and have to share to Unionyogaayurveda@gmail.com and mysilentyogi@gmail.com within 5 working days.
  • Additionally, the student has to submit a copy of video by using flash drive to exam centre under supervision of internal examiner within 5 working days.
  • Late submission will be considered as exam cancelled and later have to start the process from first step of booking the exam.
Evaluation
  • 50% of marks from Internal examiner.
  • 50% of marks from external examiner.
  • Both are added to make final marks. In short, average of internal and external examination is final marks or final grade.
  • Evaluation is done based on your clear instructions, corrections, questions and answers, usage of sanskrit terms and correct english names with indication, contraindications with subtle points mentioned in Yellow practical book.
  • The expectation of knowledge while evaluation from Internal and external examiner may vary because of which there can be difference in marks and final grades also dependent on average of marks given by internal and external examiners.
Grades
  • Students who are unsatisfied by lower grades can ask for recounting and re-evaluation by another examiner by giving official request and payment of fees:
    ~Re-evaluation $125 for theory and $125 for Practical.
    ~Re-Counting $75 for theory and $75 for Practical.
  • Recounting or Re-evaluation and payment of fees doesn’t means the grades will go higher. It’s a evaluation or counting done by another examiner which may result to increase or decrease or no change in grades. This requires max extra 30 days from the date of application of re-evaluation or recounting.
