To promote and teach Yoga as a form of therapy, which can be useful for physical health, psychological and emotional health. Various research institutes of Yoga have been working for decades using Yoga as a form of therapy for various conditions. Every science needs a system and protocol to grow in a well defined manner.
Therefore, a schematic pathway has been created by Research scientists and Therapy schools where education can define the criteria to shower the effect of Yoga at every level.Students educated and trained in therapeutic yogic science will have their own defined horizons to grow and support others.
Detailed Syllabus
UCYT101: Scriptural Definition of Yoga teaches students about the practice of Yoga that leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, Man & Nature.
UCYT102: of Body, Health & Issuesintroduces how the Body-Mind complex balance is important for the maintenance of health & the prevention of Disease.
UCYT103: Concept of Yoga & Panchakosha introduces the 5 layers of the body & mind that are interrelated to each other in Yoga. Each layer represents the various facets of an individual from the gross to the sublet body. Each layer is needed to maintain the mind-body balance.
UCYT104: Bhakti Yoga is the Path of Devotion. It is one of the 4 Streams in Yoga to attain Samadhi & Moksha by practicing love towards oneself, to others, the same way you would with a divine being. It teaches about surrender, intensity of one's emotion to transcend one's limitations.
UCYT105: Karma Yoga is the path of unselfish action. It teaches that a spiritual seeker should act according to dharma, without being attached to the fruits or personal consequences. Karma Yoga, states the Bhagavad Gita, purifies the mind.
UCYT106: Jnana Yoga is the intellectual path of scriptures and self-study, considered to be one of the most direct and yet challenging means of spiritual development.
UCYT107: Raja yoga is declared as the goal where one experiences nothing but the bliss of the undisturbed, the natural state of calm, serenity, peace, communion within and contentment.
UCYT108: Anatomy & Physiology covers the mechanisms of each systems in the human body, common ailments such as Asthma, Obesity, Pregnancy, Cancer etc.
UCYT109: Students will be guided through the sciences of the Advance Techniques of various meditation practices, their effects, and how to provide proper guidance to promote health & wellbeing.
UCYT110: Students are required to observe and share the root cause, results of complementary Managements for various conditions in a class setting using the concepts of Samprapti, Panchakosha and Yoga Therapy.
