1. PERIOD OF STUDY
1.1. Students should complete the course (inclusive of field work hours) within 12 months.
1.2. Practical and theory exam should be completed within 6 months.
1.3. Theory exam should be completed within 1 month from date of practical exam.
1.4. Once exam has passed, students can start to prepare their field reports and, presentation.
1.5. Practical hours should be clocked within 12 months or on before.
1.6. Field reports and final presentation must be completed within 12 months.
2. THEORY CLASS
2.1 Theory classes will be held on weekdays and weekends.
2.2 Each topic will be taught at least once, students are free to come and attend additional lectures for revision. It is student’s responsibility to finish all topics within 6 months or earlier.

3. PRACTICAL CLASS
3.1 Practical classes will be held on weekdays and weekends.
3.2 Syllabus will be taught through at least once, students are encouraged to attend regularly and practice each topic more than once. Refer to attendance sheet for the topics which include asanas, sequencing lessons and kriya practical.
4. PRACTICAL EXAM RULES
4.1. Exam to be completed within 6 months from start date of the course.
4.2. Exam date booking 1 month in advance.
4.3. Practical exam duration will be 20 – 30 minutes.
4.4. Exam will be conducted in Union by Dr Satyam or YIC teachers, recorded with video camera. You are required to send the soft copy of your answer sheet and practical exam to Unionyogaayurveda@gmail.co, mysilentyogi@gmail.com and to your concerned examiner by asking for their respective email address.
4.5. Format of practical exam:
4.5.1. Demonstrate (15 marks)
4.5.2. Teach/instruct with corrections/ adjustments of 3-4 Asanas (15 marks)
4.5.3. Questions and Answers (20 marks)
4.6. You are required to send a soft copy of your answer sheet and practical exam to Unionyogaayurveda@gmail.com , mysilentyogi@gmail.com and to your concerned examiner by asking for their respective email address.
4.7. The video will be sent to India school for grading, results will be given together with your field training report, certification.
5. THEORY EXAM RULES
5.1 Exam to be completed within 6 months from start date of the course.
5.2 Exam date booking 1 month in advance.
5.3 Exam duration is 3 hours.
5.4 It contains four parts:
Part I Choice of 2 out of 4 essay questions. Each 5 marks.
Part II Choice of 7 out of 8 essay questions. Each 3 marks.
Part III True or False, 9 questions. Each 1 mark
Part IV Match or Fill in the blanks, 5 questions. Each 2 marks.
5.5 Exam results will be given one month after taken it (except public holiday).
6. FAILURE AND RETAKE OF EXAM
6.1 Any failure in either theory or practical exam requires re-application for exam inwhich a processing fee of $250 is required.
6.2 In case of failure, India school will inform Union and we will let the student know ASAP.
6.3 Once made known to students, if student wishes to redo the exam, they have to make known of their intention to Union within 2 weeks. This decision will be considered official when they complete the registration form again and fees payment.
6.4 Any exam taken after 6 months from the date of course registration (unless special approval is given by Dr Satyam and school) will require a re-application fees of $250.
6.5 Failure of re-application will be considered as the student is not interested for
re-exam and no action will be taken from our end.
7. PRACTICAL/FIELD TRAINING
7.1. Each student need to finish field trainings as follows:
7.1.1. 30 hours for Yoga Alliance certificate (YIC 200 hours).
7.1.2. Additional 50 hours, i.e. 80 hours total for Swami Paramhansa Samsthana certificate (YIC 300 hours).
7.1.3. Minimum 15 hours of physical offline class (in studio or open space) and remaining hours can be clocked online or offline.
7.2. Student to record class conducted in respective Field training sheet provided.
7.3. Student to request client / attendees to fill up the Client feedback form provided after conducting classes. (approx. 10 feedback)
7.4. Guidelines for clocking of hours:
7.4.1. Maximum number of clock able hours per yoga class is 2 hrs.
7.4.2. Maximum number of clock able hours per kriya session is 3 hrs.
7.4.3. A maximum of 25 hours can be clocked for kriyas (out of 80 hours).
7.4.4. A maximum of 10 hours can be clocked for kriyas (out of 30 hours for Yoga Alliance).
7.4.5. Students are required to include a minimum of 10 photos of them assisting others in kriya practice and yoga class in the appendix of the field training report. The student face must be visible in the photos.
7.5. The hours shall not overlap. (eg. doing kriyas yet teach a class; clocking kriyas for 2 different people at the same time.)
8. FIELD TRAINING REPORT
8.1. Guidelines of report-

9. PRESENTATION RULES
9.1 Topic should be different from others.
9.2 Content of presentation may be extracted from field training report.
9.3 Necessary to include teaching experiences – positive and negative experiences/ feedback, lessons learnt, improvements in teaching.
9.4 Duration of presentation 10-20 min only.
9.5 Soft copy of presentation document saved together with field training report in CD/ flash drive. No hard copy print is needed here.
9.6 Soft copy of video recording of student’s presentation will be given to student and copied into CD/ flash drive for submission.

Fixing a date for Exam
- Plan for completion of course and exam well in Absence in classes or missing the lessons is solely the responsibility of the student.
- Booking exam date needs 30 days in
- If 30 days of booking the exam exceeds the max time limit of course, then the school is not Students have to plan their course keeping last 30 days of the exam in advance.

- For students safety, the video has to be recorded on a device brought by student and she/he has to upload the link on Google drive and have to share to and within 5 working
- Additionally, the student has to submit a copy of video by using flash drive to exam centre under the supervision of internal examiner within 5 working
- Late submissions will be considered as exam cancelled and later have to start the process from the first step of booking the
Grades
- Theory 50% internal by Union Teachers and 50% by External examiners outside Union. Average is the final grade.
- Practical 50% internal by Union Teachers and 50% by External examiners outside Union. Average is the final grade.
- Evaluation is done based on your clear instructions, corrections, questions and answers, usage of sanskrit terms and correct english names with indication, contraindications with subtle points mentioned in Yellow practical
- The expectation of knowledge while evaluation from Internal and external examiner may vary because of which there can be a difference in marks and final grades also dependent on average of the marks given by internal and external
- Attendance is Mandatory
- Once you have finished your theory and practical one time, you are eligible for exam.
- Revision 1 and Revision 2 is not compulsory, but those who need good grades, should attend all revisions.
- One time attendance with few revision topics will not give you good grades
- Field training:
- How much you try to learn more different varieties of yoga like: Wheel, Advance, Aerial, Kundalini Meditation, Chair etc
- How much you support you fellow students to attend their classes for clocking.
- How different were your clients for teacher: Private, groups, CC etc.
- How nicely you presented your PowerPoint.
- Attendance and Personality:
- How many revisions you did?
- How much you showed interest to participate in being assistant teacher or master or teachers to improve your personality.
- Your karma yoga in form of contributing to knowledge, Wisdom, compassion, surrender to yoga and yogic ambience.
- How well is your code of conduct with classmates and teachers.
Re- Evaluation
- Students who are unsatisfied by lower grades can ask for recounting and re-evaluation by another examiner by giving official request and payment of fees:
- Re-evaluation $125 for theory and $125 for Practical
- Re-Counting $75 for theory and $75 for Practical
- Recounting or Revaluation and payment of fees doesn’t means the grades will go It’s an evaluation or counting done by another examiner which may result to increase or decrease or no change in grades. This requires max extra 30 days from the date of application of revaluation or recounting.
- Students who are unsatisfied by lower grades can ask for recounting and re-evaluation by another examiner by giving official request and payment of fees:
