- Anyone who wants to learn yoga is eligible to enroll in this yoga training program.
Duration Of The Course
Total English / Chinese yoga teacher training course / Mandarin yoga instructor course: 200hrs
Note: The below mentioned syllabus is full syllabus and once the entire syllabus is taught / done with field training and with completed formalities, then it means the course hours are completed already. Hours are not counted after completing every topic each time.

- Registration and training fee for the yoga training course is not transferable and non-refundable under any circumstances.
- No bargaining in the fees.
- Maximum duration provided to attend classes after paying full fees to complete the course in all circumstances – 6 months
Students who get concessions in Tuition fees of $400 or more, will be having max 4 months to complete the course from the first date of starting of course. Failure to complete in 4 months will lead to lapse of registration and have to re-register the course by paying re-registeration fees.
Registration fees charged by Union is not related to membership fees collected by Yoga Alliance registry or any member school for their registry which have to be paid to them after certification. Student after certification from Union have to register saperately by making saperate payment to them directly.

UYIC101: Scriptural Definition of Yoga teaches students about the practice of Yoga that leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, Man & Nature.
UYIC102: Origins of Yoga
UYIC103: Bhakti Yoga is the Path of Devotion. It is one of the 4 Streams in Yoga to attain Samadhi & Moksha by practicing love towards oneself, to others, the same way you would with a divine being. It teaches about surrender, intensity of one’s emotion to transcend one’s limitations.
UYIC104: Karma Yoga is the path of unselfish action. It teaches that a spiritual seeker should act according to dharma, without being attached to the fruits or personal consequences. Karma Yoga, states the Bhagavad Gita, purifies the mind.
UYIC105: Jnana Yoga is the intellectual path of scriptures and self-study, considered to be one of the most direct and yet challenging means of spiritual development.
UYIC106: Raja yoga is declared as the goal where one experiences nothing but the bliss of the undisturbed, the natural state of calm, serenity, peace, communion within and contentment.

UYIC109: Concept of Yoga & Panchakosha introduces the 5 layers of the body & mind that are interrelated to each other in Yoga. Each layer represents the various facets of an individual from the gross to the sublet body. Each layer is needed to maintain the mind- body balance.
UYIC110: Ashtanga Yoga – The 8 Limbs of Yoga.
UYIC111: Hatha Yoga is the path towards creating balance and uniting opposites. This chapter will explore the 8 limbs of Hatha Yoga as taught by Patanjali.
UYIC112: Anatomy & Physiology covers the mechanisms of each systems in the human body.
UYIC113: Students will learn about advance meditation techniques that can enhance their individual and client yoga practice.
UYIC114: Breathing practices are taught to aid in improving breath capacity and make for a productive yoga practice. Breathing is essential in all forms of practice in Yoga.
UYIC115: Loosening practices are meant to warm up the body and to also aid in relieving stiffness in joints. It aids students to incorporate these practices for a diverse group of clients.
UYIC116: Suryanamaskar also known as Sun Salutation is a series of postures that improve mobility, flexibility and harmony within the body. Students will be guided to learn and encouraged to master this series of postures properly and with full awareness. Each posture will be broken down to its body mechanisms, benefits and variations.
UYIC117: Students will be guided through a series of standing postures to help with balance, awareness of movements and most importantly, awareness of the spine to promote good standing posture.
UYIC118: Sitting postures have been known to be good for the lower part of the body and for digestion. Students will be guided on the proper practice of these postures to understand their full benefits.
UYIC119: Prone Postures are Belly down postures build core body strength in the low back and abs. The majority of pone yoga poses are backbends. Students are taught the proper and safe practices for these postures to avoid injury and their equivalent variation.
UYIC120: Supine Postures are a great way to end a practice. These postures are also beneficial for strengthening various systems in the body. Students will be guided on the safe and proper way of practice for these series of postures.
UYIC121: Sirasana / Headstand is a posture that requires great concentration and control of breath. Students will be guided on the safe and proper way to achieve this posture which will include warm-up stretches and breath work.
UYIC122: Relaxation techniques are essential in planning a comprehensive yoga class for any level of practitioners. Students are guided to conduct theses techniques to induce a deep sense of rest and relaxation.
UYIC123: Pranayama, Mudras and various postures will be taught in this topic to guide students on creating a sense of inner balance between Mind, Body & Soul.
UYIC124: The Shadkriyas are the 6 cleansing techniques in yoga that encourage inner cleanliness, is a good tool for preventive maintenance of the body to prevent the formation of disease.
UYIC125: Field Training is required to be completed by all students. It is an immersive hands-on experience that will introduce students to lesson planning, sequencing, taking various age & health conditions into consideration when conducting a yoga class for multi-level practitioners.

Fixed a Date for Exam Details
- Plan for completion of course and exam well in advance. Absence in classes or missing the lessons is solely the responsibility of student.
- Booking exam date needs 30 days in advance.
- If 30 days of booking the exam exceeds the max time limit of course, then school is not responsible. Student have to plan their course keeping last 30 days of exam in advance.
- One time fixing a date of exam is FREE because it’s been added in registeration fees paid during starting of course.
- Any change in date after first fixing of date will add extra cost of $125 each for theory and $125 for Practical.
- Death of near and dear ones, Medical emergency with proof, Natural calamity are exceptions.
- Recording and Submission of Video
For students safety, the video has to be recorded on a device brought by student and she/he has to upload the link on Google drive and have to share to Unionyogaayurveda@gmail.com and mysilentyogi@gmail.com within 5 working days.
- Additionally, the student has to submit a copy of video by using flash drive to exam centre under supervision of internal examiner within 5 working days.
- Late submission will be considered as exam cancelled and later have to start the process from first step of booking the exam.
Evaluation
- 50% of marks from Internal examiner.
- 50% of marks from external examiner.
- Both are added to make final marks. In short, average of internal and external examination is final marks or final grade.
- Evaluation is done based on your clear instructions, corrections, questions and answers, usage of sanskrit terms and correct english names with indication, contraindications with subtle points mentioned in Yellow practical book.
- The expectation of knowledge while evaluation from Internal and external examiner may vary because of which there can be difference in marks and final grades also dependent on average of marks given by internal and external examiners.
Grades
- Students who are unsatisfied by lower grades can ask for recounting and re-evaluation by another examiner by giving official request and payment of fees:~Re-evaluation $125 for theory and $125 for Practical.~Re-Counting $75 for theory and $75 for Practical.
- Recounting or Re-evaluation and payment of fees doesn’t means the grades will go higher. It’s a evaluation or counting done by another examiner which may result to increase or decrease or no change in grades. This requires max extra 30 days from the date of application of re-evaluation or recounting.
